This fashion trend is coming back in a big way. Taking inspiration from the 50's and 60's not only do headscarves protect your hair but they add a sleek finishing touch to your outfit without overdoing it.
Choose a silky design from floral motifs or intricate patterns, or keep it simple with bold colours.
As far as styling is concerned, well I'm no expert but I know a scarf is a very versatile accessory, you can wear it traditionally and wrap the fabric under your chin in a loose knot, or have the scarf hanging off the back of your head. Even mix it up by using it as a neck scarf or tied to your bag.
Being classy has never been easier, go on channel your inner Audrey Hepburn.

I have 2 scarf designs available to buy from my online shop "Nostalgia", a playful 80's retro design which will provide a pop of colour to any outfit. The design features a collage of genuine 1980's pop magazine Smash Hits with hand drawn images of popular artists and bands of the 80's. The design would not be complete if it did not feature that all important Walkman and tape cassette. This scarf design is available in 2 styles, square and skinny.
My latest design is inspired by the Aesop fable, The Lion and the Mouse featuring the moral of the story "A Kindness is Never Wasted" a moral I find very fitting for the times we find ourselves living in right now. This design is hand drawn by me featuring the main characters of the story and colourful foliage. This scarf is available as a square scarf but 3 different colour ways to choose from.
I am currently working on the next trend and scarf design so watch this space.
